Forest East

As our founding cohort grew into teenagers, they needed a new program. This page is for them, and what they do in their own words.

“The teenager session is a fun time where we can hang out and share our thoughts. It's a place where we talk about what we like, such as music, movies, and games. We learn from each other and support one another. It feels good to express ourselves. These sessions help us feel understood and connected. They are a great way to explore our interests and build confidence together in a safe and friendly environment.”

In their own words…

As for me, The teenager session is a fun time where we can hang out and share our thoughts. It's a place where we talk about what we like, such as music, movies, and games. We learn from each other and support one another. It feels good to express ourselves. These sessions help us feel understood and connected. They are a great way to explore our interests and build confidence together in a safe and friendly environment.

The teenage session is a place that held me with self discoverence and teaches me how to take responsibility whether it's my or someone else's doings, crucial or not. It has taught me how to socialize with people even though I didn't want to, cause of that, I learnt that, I have learnt that there are things you have to do like it or not.

During this session, individuals experience significant physical, emotional, and social changes. They navigate the challenges of adolescence, including self-discovery, peer relationships, and academic pressures. It's a time of exploration, experimentation, and learning, as they develop their identities, form close bonds with friends, and transition from childhood to young adulthood. Emotions can be intense, and decisions can have lasting impacts.
